My name is Brian Fournier and I am the Director of Jitterbugs School of Social Dance. I have included this letter in an attempt to convey to you the essence of Jitterbugs School of Social Dance; that is, what it is like to be involved with the school. From an academic and economic standpoint, the school is very simple to understand. We offer high quality social and ballroom dance lessons at affordable prices.

We consider ourselves to be one the best values in social dance instruction in Western Massachusetts. We do not charge our students exuberant rates and we don’t require students to sign contracts. It is really that simple. Individuals can pay for private lessons as they go and can purchase their group lessons by the month. Our thinking is simple. We believe that if we are teaching quality affordable lessons and people are enjoying themselves, they will continue to take lessons here. In contrast, we also believe that if we do not teach well and people do not feel comfortable here, they will not take lessons here. This is a great approach for us because it requires staff to stay on top of their game and to be the best they can be. The growing number of people taking lessons at the school is the testimony of how much our staff understands of the learning process. Jitterbugs School of Social Dance is also a very special place. It is a relaxed environment. Having noted that we spend little to no time on sales procedures, I would like to focus on the deeper essence of Jitterbugs School of Social Dance.

It is found in the people who teach and take lessons here. This is a very special community. The spirit of cooperation and support for each other, in learning, amongst the students here is extraordinary. Basically, everyone is on a first name basis and the sense of fellowship and comradary is quite special. I am extremely proud of this shool’s staff and students.

I hope that you will join us and experience the joy of dance for yourself! If you have any questions, please feel free to call me or anyone of the staff at (413) 535-4284.

Sincerely,
Brian
