	Dear Interested Reader,

	I consider myself to be truly blessed to dance and I try to remain thankful each day. My name is Brian Fournier and I am the Director of Jitterbugs School of Social Dance.
	I really don’t care to discuss my accomplishments very much because it seems arrogant. However as the school’s Director, I want to give you a clear picture of my credentials.
This will hopefully help you in determining the schools credibility. Western Mass is my home. I grew up here and feel that I understand the people of this area well. I went to STCC and served as the Student Representative on the college’s Board of Trustees and on the Personnel Committee. I also served as Secretary of the Student Advisory Council to the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Later, I also graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
I am a certified ballroom dance instructor with over twenty years of full and part-time experience. I have competed professionally, in both regional and national competitions. I have been a finalist, placed or won in a variety of events. I personally enjoy the Theatre Arts style of dance, which combines the elements of ballroom and lifts. I have received a variety of awards including, “Northeast (U.S.) Regional Top Teacher Awards” and “The New England Standard of Excellence Award” for instruction. During my career, I have taught as a New Student Specialist, Advanced Instructor, Senior Staff Member, Staff Trainer, Dance Director, and Choreographer. Today, I am the Director and owner of Jitterbugs School of Social Dance. I have choreographed dance segments for local theatre, trained competitors for beauty pageants, bodybuilding competitions and have taught in a whole host of other capacities. As I said in the beginning, “I consider myself to be truly blessed to dance and I try to remain thankful each day”. If you attend Jitterbugs School of Social Dance, I will make every effort to make sure that your learning experience is a great one by providing a safe, relaxing, fun and exciting environment in which to learn. My goal, for you as a student, is that you experience the joy and abandon which dancing can so uniquely provide.
